WARM Mentor-Protegee Exhibition, this Saturday, Oct. 13, 6-9 pm, in the Grain Belt Bottling House in NE Minneapolis!
The exhibition, "Gifted and Guided: 2011-2012 WARM Mentor Program Exhibition," opened Oct. 6th and runs through Nov. 10th at the Grain Belt Bottling House in NE Minneapolis. The exhibition, the culmination of the two-year Mentor-Protegee cycle, honors our Protegees' achievements. This year's exhibition also honors the program's founding by WARM member, Judith Roode, who originated the program 30-years ago. The reception features live music by blues-jazz keyboardist, Tom Pletscher. It should be a terrific evening with lots of good music, finger-food and beverages, and engaging art work in widely-diverse mediums.
Artist Talks will take place on Oct. 20, Nov. 1 and Judith Roode will give an artist talk on Nov. 3 (3:30 pm). Introduction of the 2013-2014 Mentors takes place on Oct. 24, 7-9 pm and Saturday, Oct. 27th.
