Uptown Art Fair 2013 Juror Search

The Uptown Association- producer of the Uptown Art Fair- is currently seeking jurors for the 2013 selection process. As a highly ranked fine art festival, the Uptown Art Fair receives an average of 1,000 applications for our 350 available spaces. They rely on highly knowledgeable artists, professors, and curators, to assist with the selection process.

The jury process reviews artist applications and extends exhibitor invitations in a fair and balanced manner. Jurors view applicant slides on 6' screens and vote yes, no or maybe. Scoring takes place on laptops through a high-speed internet connection, allowing immediate results.

The jury will be held Saturday, March 23 from approximately 7:30am-7pm and Sunday, March 24 from 7:30am-8pm at the Sheraton Midtown Minneapolis. Jurors MUST be available to work for the entire duration of the jury on Saturday and Sunday. An optional reception will be held Friday, March 23 from 5:30-8pm. Meals will be provided throughout the weekend free of charge, as will lodging in the Sheraton if you choose to stay overnight. Jurors are paid $300 for their services.
