Minnesota Citizens for the Arts is looking for arts supporters, both students and art enthusiasts, to attend Arts Advocacy Day on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the State Capital. Minnesota's Arts Advocacy Day is a fun, free event where you get together with other arts advocates from across the state to speak with legislators about the importance of the arts in your district.
MCA is a statewide advocacy organization that works to ensure all people have access to and opportunity in the arts.
This session, the state Legislature is facing a $1 billion budget deficit. The next two years of arts funding is on the line. Your legislators need to hear from you that grants are being well spent and benefiting your campus, your community, and our state. Your best opportunity to do this is at Arts Advocacy Day 2013 on March 7.
